As the general manager of this team you provide a portfolio of commercial services, you are responsible for commercial direct export related activities from the Netherlands, cross-Market business and Long-term Strategic Partnerships (LSP’s)
Your scope includes :
Leadership and accountability for all Health Systems commercial direct export related activities from the Netherlands (via Philips Medical Systems Nederland BV / PMSN BV).
You will together with your team enable the export related commercial Philips organizations like Middle East & Turkey, India, Central & Eastern Europe, Africa, Russia & Central Asia, Asia and Latin America to sustainably execute and grow the export business.
Cross-market business development, based on bi-lateral / government loans or via system integrators;
Strategic pursuits, business development through commercial innovation in LSPs;
PMSN BV compliance and control of related activities (fiscal, legal and financial matters).
You will continuously improve and transform the services to enable business growth in a profitable, scalable and compliant way.
You are an authorized representative in the Chamber of Commerce and will sign and act on behalf of Philips, as well as represent Philips with partners in case of disputes.
You are responsible for
Managing the Strategic Pursuit team and the International business team, create synergies and drive further efficiencies
Change management and portfolio management of continuous improvements
Contributing to company strategy for Solutions, LSPs and international business
Stakeholder management with market leaders, business leaders and enabling functions
Talent development and people management incl. PPMs of all direct reports
Direct Export Sales for markets of relevance. Guide the Export Sales Managers who act as liaison for the markets and enable Sales Operations to manage (quote / tender / contract mgmt) the export related sales support activities for these markets.
Cross-Market Business. Together with the virtual team develop and manage cross border businesses and related processes including the cross border policy.
International sales via bilateral governmental loan agreements (tied and untied credits) and management of these loans / protocols and / or Export Credit Agency solutions.
For PMSN related contracts, ensure policies and procedures are followed, authorized to sign contracts, all in line with GBP
Supportive in Partnership management with distributors and systems integrators
You are a part of
Your direct reports consist of Strategic Business Architects, Bid Managers, Financial Business Consultants, Export Sales Managers, a Cross-Market Business Leader, a Sales Operations Leader, a Management Assistant / Deal board officer and you engage on a daily base with a dedicated Finance Business Partner.
Your get further support from HR BP, Export Control, Fiscal and Legal department.
You will collaborate closely with the International Market leaders and business leaders. You manager is the Market Leader of the Benelux and you engage on a regular base with the Head of International Markets.
Your partners are the leaders of Risk & Strategy International Markets, Business Transformation, Solution Transformation, BG Businesses and the Innovation Hubs.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Academic / master degree;
Fluent in English;
Strong communication skills;
Analytical and conceptually strong;
Experience in people leadership, preferred inproject-, indirect-, virtual- and cross functional teams;
Commercial focus, preferably consultative selling skills at customer C-suite level;
The following skills and experience are a benefit for this role :
Familiarity with healthcare and local healthcare eco-systems;
Reimbursements systems, (international) financing, government loans, donor funding, export structures;
Philips products, software, services, solutions and Long-term Strategic Partnerships;
Opportunity development and proposal management of Long-term Strategic Partnerships;
Deal structures and public private partnerships, joint ventures and other special purpose vehicles;
Experience with system integrators;
Direct export and cross-market-business sales and operations.
Experience with continuous improvement, change management and LEAN;
Distributor service level agreement, commission policies and distributor due diligence;
Experience in control and compliance procedures, risk management, export controls / embargo countries, OCAP(One Contact Approval Process)and deal board approvals, commercial policies;
Experience with different business models, sales channels, pricing policies and payment models;
