Job Description

At Global media | Global Marketing we have the ambition to be there where ever the consumer is. To understand their personal preferences, know which medium to use to reach them and what to communicate and where to convert. Appreciated.

Key in achieving our goals is leveraging (big) data. The global data scientist will be responsible to build, maintain, evolve and most important utilize JDE’s marketing data infrastructure. Together with other digital leads on CRM, Performance marketing and Content you will turn insights into actions.

Furthermore, you’ll be in the lead when it comes to technical challenges in building JDE’s marketing data infrastructure, and be a leading pioneer in turning JDE into data driven company.

Are you an expert in advanced analytics, does your heart starts to race from predictive modelling, AI, Machine learning, customer segmentation, consumer journey mapping and visualization of performance data? Then join our team! 

Key Responsibilities

  • develop data visualization across multiple markets.
  • manage tag management /campaign naming conventions
  • develop ongoing insights on how to drive a greater return on investment from total digital media and production investments.
  • promote a culture of A/B testing, you will drive change by delivering new insights and recommendations.

  • Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you will need 3-5 years of experience in a similar client or agency role and posess outstanding communication skills. This role requires an individual who is able to interpret data well and preferably has advanced knowledge of Tableau and exposure to or interest in Machine Learning.

  • Experienced in Google360
  • Expert in data transformation/preparation (structured and unstructured)
  • SQL, Big Query, R and/or Python, Alteryx
  • Ability to work on multiple data sets and discover hidden relationships
  • Ability to extract valuable insights from both structured and unstructured data
  • Turn data into actions
  • Knowlegde of data infrastructures, data models, data warehousing (lake)
