Product Area Lead Mortgages NL In Life Management (Beheer)
Mortgages in the Netherlands are a crucial product for ING as a whole and render the lion’s share of ING’s profit before tax for both Market Leaders as well as Group.
We operate in a highly competitive market, which means that the way we serve our customers is crucial for our position, next to being competitive in our pricing.
In the Netherlands, approximately 65% of our mortgages are sold by independent intermediaries, which makes it even more important to offer top notch processes to set ING apart from our competitors.
Besides this commercial challenge ING faces an increase in regulation, laws, policies and regulatory supervision. To combine both challenges in making Mortgages NL into a success, trade- offs need to be made on a daily basis while moving in the right direction.
Therefore the Tribe Mortgages Service NL is organizing itself into two areas, Origination for new mortgages and In Life Management for existing mortgages.
Both areas have about 15 squads and are in in close co-operation with CLT Hyping where operations and customer contact takes place.
Currently, we are looking for a candidate for the Area Lead Mortgages In Life Management position.
Your role & work environment
Reporting to the Tribe Lead Mortgages NL, the PAL position is a senior management position and high energy job which demands your A-game every day.
Together with the Tribe Lead, you will define a winning strategy for your area in line with the Tribe’s objectives and in alignment with other stakeholders in the chain.
Working out of Amsterdam you will steer the execution by your squads led by your product owners, although hierarchically they do not report to you.
To create as much drive as we can towards our joint goals, you form a triangle with the IT Area Lead and Super Circle Lead for execution and prioritization in your area.
The same you do on the other side with the Chapter Leads of your squad members and the Agile Coaches but in this case focused on area performance, skills and, competencies needed.
You will proactively anticipate dependencies and collaboration across the entire organization and with the parties that need to contribute to a specific implementation of your business area.
Last but not least you are part of the broader leadership team of the tribe, a close team of which members support each other and push each other to a higher level, which is exactly the spirit that we want to radiate each and every day to our tribe members.
