As Netflix continues to scale across the globe, our Creative Planning team is a driving force in building how we ask for creative, how we find the best creative talent around the globe and how we streamline production.

Made up of a diverse team of creative industry professionals, this team is reinventing how we create stories about our content.

We are looking for a proven and skilled I&D champion to run and optimize initiatives to strengthen how we engage with our external creative partners.

You will play a crucial role in developing and driving adoption of a strategic framework aimed to enhance I&D partnership principles and practices.

Through your leadership, you will help establish talent pipelines to increase representation of underrepresented groups, because we believe that being inclusive of a wider range of voices and perspectives fuels creative excellence.

With the broader Creative Planning team you will help ensure this talent makes its way into working on projects successfully.

You will also manage a cross-functional and cross-regional taskforce to help gather and action insights into initiatives ensuring we realize impact across the promotional creative organization.

The role will report to the Head of Promotional Creative Partner Management in Creative Planning.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with all levels of staff to formulate, recommend, and execute I&D principles and practices for how we work with external creative partners
  • Lead the establishment of the promotional creative partners I&D vision, goals, KPIs, priorities, and roadmap
  • Work in close alignment with our Inclusion Strategy team to ensure consistency with Netflix’s initiatives and programs
  • Lead the internal promotional creative partners I&D taskforce and act as the key connector between all pods to ensure all activities are laddering up to the larger strategy, and are being considered through an I&D lens
  • Help establish new talent pipelines that aim to address the representation gap
  • Co-develop training initiatives and resources to further enhance our ability to set up all partners for success
  • Identify and manage partnership opportunities with reputable organizations in the I&D space
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to understand the needs of internal partner teams
  • Stay connected to broader Netflix Inclusion programs and tactics to identify synergies
  • Maintain positive relationships with existing creative partners and promote a high level of partner trust and transparency
  • Keep finger on the pulse of the industry at large (outside Netflix) to understand key challenges and opportunities, particularly creative talent
  • Monitor and spotlight other brand organizations’ I&D partner initiatives, including, but not limited to Netflix competitors and leading tech brands
  • Qualification :

  • Working experience in the creative industry (Brand or Agency side) with an understanding of how creative is made
  • Previously in a leadership position either building a practice or offering
  • Proven expertise in I&D and a demonstrative history in inclusion strategy or program execution
  • An unshakeable respect for the importance and impact of I&D at any organization and an openness to, and respect for, cultural differences
  • Lead by example and embrace coaching to help others expand knowledge and skills
  • Confidence to rely on self judgment, discretion to work autonomously, and take smart risks
  • Experience with large scale problem-solving and rolling up their sleeves to build the solutions
  • Proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams and drive them to successful and flawless execution
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to maintain program progress
  • Comfortable working with and leveraging data to understand and action learnings
  • Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships
  • Experience working with expanding global businesses and teams a plus
