The Team
The Demand and Supply Planner joins the Procurement department and reports to the Supply Chain Manager. The team takes care of Non-Trade materials (e.
g. store furnishings and packaging materials) for Calvin Klein Europe and Tommy Hilfiger. Focus is on planning, inventory, and order and 4PL management.
The team is in close collaboration with its key stakeholders, which are the store / shop-in-shop development teams, Visual Merchandising, the warehouse and logistics provider, and finance.
The 3 roles within the team each have a different focus, but are structured in a way that each can function as a backup for the other roles.
The Position
This role is responsible for the Consumables (bags, gift boxes) and Non Consumables (hangers, mannequins) categories within the Tommy Hilfiger brand.
Your key purpose is to further develop the demand and supply planning process, act as a first line of support to your planning team member, and help build the capabilities within the team.
Key Responsibilities :
S&OP process development (30% of the role)
Lead the evolution of EMEA demand planning strategies, goals, processes, systems, metrics and capabilities to meet ongoing business requirements
Develop supply planning process to increase product availability while minimizing inventory
Create buy in, commitment and engagement within the stakeholder group
Maintain and develop demand planning tools (systems, RACI's, meeting templates, calendars)
Follow market and business trends to ensure a critical assessment of forecasts
Report, review and continuously improve forecast accuracy (FA% and Bias %)
Develop team capabilities
Demand planning (50% of the role)
Maintaining forecast KPI, evolution and accuracy reporting
Develop and generate on a monthly basis 12 month forecast (based on statistics, seasonality / trends and forward insights gained via stakeholders and in line with overall strategy)
Collaborate with key stakeholders to get essential inputs and reach cross-functional consensus on forecast and stock strategy
Prepare and lead demand planning meetings as part of the demand planning process
Ensure timely handover of consensus forecast into supply planning process
Supply planning (15% of the role)
Drive the replenishment strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders
Run, analyze, and share weekly report on availability issues, with a forward view of 3 months (identify and resolve supply shortfalls & backlogs)
Weekly order placement
Prepare and lead bi-weekly availability meeting as part of the supply planning process
Inventory risk management (5% of the role)
Perform monthly analysis on inventory risks and propose mitigation plans
Preparation and lead of the monthly Inventory Review
Coordinate scrapping and write off activities
Order management, as a back-up capability
The Ideal Candidate :
4-7 years’ of related work experience
BASc+ level in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Experience with Sales & Operations Planning or Integrated Business Planning processes
Excellent understanding of demand planning concepts and methodologies
Can align with PVH strategy and is able to translate this down to Supply Chain impact
Strong presentation skills and stakeholder management
Strong analytical skills, organizational skills
Can quickly and concisely state the problem (at the executive level) and identify root cause and solutions
Demonstrated creative problem-solving experience, effective risk mitigation and able to facilitate a change process
Preferably people from a multinational, fast-paced, complex environment
Excellent command of English language (written & spoken)
Strong Excel skills and proficient in powerpoint
