About the role

As an HR & Payroll Officer, you will join our Olen site, reporting to the HR Services Team Lead Benelux and closely collaborating with HRBP’s and our HR Service Center.

You will be responsible for supporting the daily HR operations related to payroll, benefits, employee relations, and relevant systems, processes, and policies within a challenging and fast-paced multinational environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Support the monthly payroll process by delivering accurate and timely management of the data for new hires, departures, employee benefits, work permits, expatriate packages and other
  • First point of contact for HR related questions of employees via online HR portal (e.g. parental leave, time credit, educational leave, group insurance, sickness leave, vacation planning regulations, ) and follow up with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. RVA, mutuality,...)
  • Operational management of compensation & benefits
  • Contract management
  • implementation and the follow up of diverse projects
  • HR Onboarding of new hires
  • Continuous improvement of HR processes & HR work instructions
  • HR Reporting (Absenteeism, HR key metrics, )
  • Support all internal and external audits related to HR & payroll
  • Variety of administrative tasks (e.g. filing of diverse HR related documents, )
  • Requirements / Qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree in an HR related study or equal by experience
  • A previous experience of working in a multinational environment is preferred
  • A good knowledge of Belgian labor laws and social regulations is advantageous;
  • Organizational skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to work accurate
  • Capability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information
  • Service-oriented and approachable towards employees
  • Proactive and hands-on mentality
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, as well as within virtual teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Dutch & English, French is an asset
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
