From our Headquarters in the pristine beachside town of Byron Bay, Australia we are expanding on our global success and growing our European team.
The European team is responsible for developing and executing the distribution strategy and delivering an unmatched customer experience throughout Europe.
We do this combining both direct sales and indirect sales channels, leveraging strong commercial relationships, international trade shows and other unique events.
You can be part of this closely knit Flite Crew! We are looking for a talented Sales Coordinator and Event Manager Europe to complete the team at our European Headquarters in the Netherlands.
The position is a combination of 60-80% sales coordination with our global team, agents and commercial partners and 20-40% event management.
As event manager you’ll be in charge of coordinating our success at some of the most exciting European commercial events and trade shows in the marine technology industry.
The Sales Coordinator & Event Manager is responsible for the following :
Respond to enquiries via multiple channels while delivering a premium customer experience
Manage the rapidly growing Fliteboard community, both on- and offline
Work together with the global D2C sales teams in Australia, the USA and Europe to Direct B2B enquiries to the relevant sales team members and support the sales team follow-up
Process online orders in Salesforce
Maintain customer communication with a very high level of professionalism
Assist in administration of sales orders and sales reporting
Contribute to marketing initiatives to drive D2C sales
Project management of trade shows and other events in collaboration with other event teams
You recognize yourself in the following
You’re an absolute watersports and tech fanatic! Whether it’s boardsports you’re into or other water related activities, there’s hardly anything you’d rather spend your time doing.
You hold a relevant applied science (HBO) or university (WO) degree
You have around 3-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably driving sales together with business partners and working in a startup or scale up environment
You understand what it takes to successfully sell high end products
You’re comfortable with international project management and setting us up for success at international trade shows or small and exclusive demonstration events.
You’re creative, flexible and a team player.
You’re an excellent communicator in multiple languages, including Dutch and English (required) and French, Spanish and / or German
Whether you’re dealing with a customer, a business partner or a colleague, you relentlessly follow through while informing others about the actions you’ve taken
You’re good with numbers; able to translate data into concrete insights and actions
Good computer skills; experience with Salesforce desired but not essential

The role is offered as a full-time position with regular business hours on Monday Friday. The role is based in Heemstede, close to Amsterdam beaches’ Zandvoort aan Zee and Bloemendaal.
