The Role

As a result of our continued success we are seeking a proactive, creative and tenacious to develop new business within a defined portfolio across all vertical markets.

Responsibilities of the Named Account Manager include the ability to establish relationships at the executive level, advanced solution selling capabilities, conducting sales presentations, coordinating multiple resources within an account, while closing business for Proofpoint.

The candidate who will best fit our culture will take great pride in delivering for customers and act with honesty and integrity.

Currently home working due to Covid. Return to office will be a hybrid model, offering a flexible balance of office and home working

Your day-to-day

  • Focus on driving developing new accounts (across multiple verticals) above 2,500 users
  • Convert prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition.
  • Work collaboratively with System Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans and to organise and deliver compelling sales presentations.
  • Partner with the channel to gain access into new accounts.
  • Build pipeline and deliver dependable forecast
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning in the marketplace.
  • What you bring to the team

  • Self-starter, with a high level of energy, enthusiasm and passion!
  • Proven and demonstrable track record of exceeding revenue targets
  • Ideally, you will have experience selling Enterprise Security or Information Technology Solutions, but if you’re a from a different industry, we still want to talk to you!
  • Business acumen and an understanding of the security landscape with the ability to become a trusted advisor of the CISO.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use SFDC, pricing and other on-line tools effectively.
  • Fluent Dutch and English required
