As a Junior Business Development Manager you will be responsible for prospecting and engaging. You will assist and work closely with the Sales team to develop and grow new and existing opportunities.

You must have a strong desire to learn how our software adds value to our customers and be able to articulate the value proposition to prospecting clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with assigned accounts and contacts in a professional manner
  • identify target prospects and follow through with a well-defined plan to secure new business
  • Initiate first contact with prospects
  • Build a pipeline of qualified leads to meet business plans, quotas, and company objectives
  • Obtain key information from targeted prospects to meet the qualified lead criteria
  • Track prospects, identify decision makers, identify timelines and specific qualifications

    We request that you preferably have :

  • 2-3 years' experience in sales, business development, account or relationship roles in a B2B or B2G consulting, services, or software technology focused environment
  • Experience with an employment or labor market-related sector is a plus
  • Proactively seek new sales opportunities
  • Generate and respond to new sales opportunities from existing contacts or generated sales leads
  • Effectively assist in the sales process per individual sales opportunity
  • Understand client needs and industry trends, and develop winning proposals
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the Sales team and other internal stakeholders
  • The ideal candidate is a doer and closer : ambitious, self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, friendly, high-energy, and willing to learn and be creative
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Master’s degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English, other languages are considered a plus, like Spanish, French or German. A language test will be part of the selection process
  • Willingness to international travel with a minimum of 40%
  • International work or study experience
  • Extracurricular activities and / or entrepreneurial experience
