The B2B Communication Services department is responsible for the continued development and deployment of new Communication services for our B2B customers.
This includes a self-service portal, B2B voice services and UC.
The role would be :
To create, update and maintain the Communications services architecture.
End-2-End solution development of new features or services according LG processes and requirements.
Writing high and low level documents.
Support functional testing, technical field trial, operational field trial.
Develop and deploy new features end to end. This includes central and in-country roll-out, integration into monitoring / security / IT systems.
Provide level 3 support, not on on-call basis.
Engaging with vendors in RFI / RFP / RFQ process.
Vendor management from technology point of view.
Engaging with internal departments, like central product marketing, in-country product marketing, central product security.
Drive B2B Communication Services Roadmap.
Provide leadership and direction for all stakeholders within programs.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor or Master Degree in a technical subject (preferable IT or Telecommunication)
Knowledge & Experience :
Fluent spoken and written English
Ideally fluent spoken and written other main European languages
Proficient knowledge and certifications in data network technologies (IP, Ethernet, Optical)
Broad technology background with experience of B2B market place and enterprise solutions ideally within Cable or Telco environment
A technical background with 5-10 years’ experience in voice communications design and architecture
Excellent knowledge on VOIP protocols
Excellent understanding of voice architectures in a multi-tenant / affiliate OTT solution.
Excellent understanding of B2B voice services, like SIP-Trunking, MS teams, Hosted PBX, SIP phones.
Qualifications or extensive experience in the design and integration of both traditional and VoIP platforms, service / products
In depth knowledge of next generation Networks (IMS) and an overview of upcoming technologies within the telecommunications market
Strong understanding of technologies and platforms specific to a large cable and quad play operator across B2B products & services
Significantly experienced in designing, developing and integrating VoIP services, preferably in a B2B market environment
