Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end ownership of digital solutions delivered to meet requirements, delivering the architecture
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Work as the bridge between the business stakeholders and development teams
  • Be able to realize both functional and non-functional capabilities that aligns to the overall architecture.
  • Be able to understand and further explain complex technical concepts and to drive technical solutions into right directions
  • Provide leadership of the solution implementation, embracing modern cloud native concepts, agile, DevOps delivery and the use of enterprise cloud platforms
  • Provide oversight to project to ensure alignment to security architecture and correct consideration of cyber security has been factored into designs
  • Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • A degree in Engineering
  • 7-10 years' work experience in technical roles (Technical lead, architect )
  • Hands on experience in designing technical solutions
  • Hands-on experience in integration technologies
  • Must be experienced in interactions between stakeholders and developing team to ensure alignment.
  • Strong communication skills, able to present technical solutions to non-technical people / challenge stakeholders on their decisions
  • Analytical thinking, fact driven / logical approach
  • Embrace change, open-minded, flexibility to work in an agile environment
  • Preferred skills and experience

    Hands-on programming experience with at least one programming language (e.g. NODEJS, JAVA)

    Hands on experience in designing & developing Microservices based on headless architecture, domain driven design

    Hands-on experience in integration technologies

    Hands-on experience in designing Cloud solutions based on enterprise cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS)

    Hands-on challenging the developers to bridge the gap between the architecture and codebase level implementation

    GraphQL as well as REST API

    DevOps : CI / CD, Docker, Kubernetes

    eCommerce & CMS experience (e.g. commerceTools, Bloomreach)

    Search engines (e.g. Algolia search and merchandising )
