Freshteam (by Freshworks) is an HR software suite which manages the employee lifecycle end-to-end and is the next big bet from Freshworks.
From Recruitment Management, Employee Onboarding, Employee Information maintenance, Exit & Off-boarding to Absence management, the suite is envisioned to be an all-in-one HR suite.
We are looking for Product Managers to build deeper functionalities and launch new modules to make a dent in the HR space.
Freshteam works like a start up inside Freshworks. So, it has its advantage of moving fast, the flexibility for the PM to be nimble with the opportunity to be ownership driven while having the benefits of being inside a well funded / secure company.
Your Role and Responsibilities :
Own and build features that align the product with the company’s vision. Develop deeper domain expertise and understand the trends in the market to keep the other stakeholders aligned on the direction of the product area or module.
Understand the Customer problem with an eye for detailed context. Work closely with the customers directly to build an understanding of various problems.
You will also communicate the customer problem to the development and keep them aligned on the direction of the solutions.
Learn and Practice product craft. Create solutions with delightful user experiences and find the balance between solving the customer problem and shipping the right product solution.
You will learn by iterating and measuring the adoption from time to time.
You will take ownership of your area but be open to solving problems that come your way. You will communicate clearly to various stakeholders of Product development, Engineering, Marketing, Sales & Leadership teams and work together in achieving the overall product vision.
Breakdown complex problems to phases to help the team make incremental progress while still giving the idea about the bigger picture on how it will pan out eventually.
You will be one who will evangelise the vision and ensure maximum customer value is achieved with the least amount of work.
Our Perfect Match :
7+ years of working in global / cross functional software teams in a software product company in the HR domain.
4+ years of core product management experience in building features for internet software products in the HR domain with experience of having worked through various stages of scale.
Being empathetic and having a strong listening ability to understand the other person - may it be a customer or an internal stakeholder.
Ability to arrive at Intuitive & simple product solutions. Strong sense of UI and usability is a plus.
Ability to communicate complex concepts / customer problems in a simple way to internal & external stakeholders.
A track record of making day-to-day data-driven decisions in a fast-evolving environment while keeping an eye on overall vision.
Having worked in a mode of structured experimentation - measuring and iterating on problems from time to time to achieve product goals.
Prior experience as a product developer or product designer is a plus.
Business proficiency in English is mandatory. Additional EU languages are a plus.
