Act as a proactive business contributor towards the Sales Director and the Market CFO, leveraging his / her insights on the business to drive stronger plans, ideas and to be a source of financial leadership.
Responsible for co-piloting with the Market CFO and Sales Director to drive profitable growth with customers. Ensure the proper governance / controls over Trade Investments and expenses, driving ROI mindset and ensuring transparent reporting of customer activities performance is available.
Partner with sales teams to conduct Joint Business Planning with customers / G2M analysis / channel & commercial strategies, to improve decision making / investment strategy, and to drive ROI on Trade investments and cash flow improvements.
Understand customer business models to support G2M / channel strategy development
Support annual Trade Terms and Customer JBP negotiations to drive future growth
Enable Sales Director to develop strategies that improve DSO metric
Conduct customer profitability analyses with recommendations to improve top and bottom line results
Lead customer trade term compliance tracking and develop ideas to improve terms efficiency
Optimize promo strategy for key customers via trade investment ROI analysis
Co-lead Strategic Revenue Management projects to improve the P&L shape
Participate in S&OP planning process to ensure transparent discussion of risks and opportunities
Lead actionable Customer P&L / Cost to Serve analyses that create insights to improve profitability
Enable ongoing budget tracking process led by sales pilots and ensure full visibility of risks / opportunities
Support month end process for customer investments, ensuring full compliance with Coty policies / U.S. GAAP
Ad-Hoc reporting and analyses based on business needs
Licensor audit support (where applicable)
SOX compliance tasks in the context of Gross to Net and revenue recognition
Knowledge & Experience
Experience in Financial Analysis and Forecasting, ideally from previous local Copilot roles
Very good understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet under U.S. GAAP
Solid understanding of month-end close process and how it impacts P&L and B / S
Experience in working in multi-functional environments
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance & Accounting
Strong Excel skills, experience with SAP, Hyperion and BW HANA skills appreciated (but not mandatory)
