Global Marketing Competitive Intelligence Manager
You will organize and save marketing competitive intelligence into our database for future access, coordinate a core team within Commercial Marketing to efficiently communicate relevant competitive intelligence to other workstreams, enable an effective marketing competitive response process and represent Commercial Marketing within cross-functional competitive teams and the Corporate Strategy team.
Reporting into the Head of Customer & Market Insights Business Partners within the Global Marketing Team, you will have the opportunity to be a central part in a rapidly expanding business in a world class company.
You will enhance our marketing research, analytics and reporting ecosystem to help us make better business decisions and help improve diagnostic care for millions of pets around the world.
What you can expect in this role
As the Global Marketing Competitive Intelligence Manager, you will :
Establish a Marketing Competitive Intelligence Way of Working in the organization and align with regional marketing teams Provide regular updates to the Global Marketing organization on key competitive news via a monthly NewsletterDevelop a current and comprehensive database of marketing competitive intelligencePrepare and run regular team meetings and / or communications within Commercial Marketing to share and elevate competitive trendsDevelop effective response to competitors’ marketing and sales programs (in partnership with stakeholders across workstreams) via Sales talking points, Marketing materials, Commercial and medical positioning, Sales training, Customer education and Marketing strategy.
Participate in cross-functional competitive teams to provide Commercial Marketing input and perspectiveLead tradeshow competitive intelligence work focused on collection and communication across the companyManage the research projects owned by the Corporate Strategy team from brief to activation.
What you need to succeed :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master’s Degree or equivalent preferredMarket knowledge and experience with Animal Health, Diagnostics or Medical Devices categories highly preferred.
Strong experience working with technical products / solutions.Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to bring together relevant information, synthesize and share with impact.
Ability to prioritize, maintain focus, and manage multiple projects at the same timeCurious and able to connect multiple data points into insights.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbalStrong / advanced presentation skills; ability to present and explain information to all audiencesProven collaboration skills.
Ability to work in and lead teams which are highly matrixed, cross functional and technical.Bring a broader business view to be able to support more foundational and abstract projects to support corporate strategy
