Your day-to-day activities
Security and space is everywhere around us. As a software / firmware engineer you have the knowledge of software and firmware development according to the latest development principles, the design, simulation, implementation and verification of FPGA circuits with HDL.
You are interested in security and cryptography and you like to bring this together in new applications. You will join a multidisciplinary team that delivers software and firmware in sprints and which is responsible for the complete development cycle.

Your working environment
With almost 40 years in the industry, is a growing business with exciting projects and prospects across the Navigation, Security, Earth Observation and Satcoms domains.
We currently have around 500 members working on projects in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands. You will get the opportunity to work for Galileo.
Galileo is Europe’s own global satellite system and currently consists of a constellation of 22 satellites. It is capable of providing a highly accurate, guaranteed global positioning service under civilian control.
The system is still under development and has recently entered the Exploitation Phase.
We offer you a permanent contract, so that you immediately have job security. Part-time work, for example 32 or 36 hours per week, is negotiable, we are happy to offer you that flexibility.
