The DPO Team advises thebusiness on data privacy matters on a global scale, including but not limitedto GDPR and CCPA, by promoting an ethical environment where compliance addsvalue to our mission.
We are seeking a Data Privacy Analyst who will be anintegral part of our global compliance efforts working in a truly multiculturalenvironment.
This role is based in our Amsterdam office.
Responsibilities
In whatever you do, weexpect you to look for improvement opportunities. We are not afraid of makingradical changes to the way how we work if this is needed to enhance efficiencywhile maintaining compliance.
But often smaller changes or fine-tuning of ourprocesses is what we need to achieve a positive impact
Handling data requests,ensuring compliance with the relevant laws and regulations by working withother teams to meet regulatory deadlines.
Learning about our connectedproducts, working with authorities, technical experts and other lawyers
Performing complianceaudits across the business and getting an understanding of how risk gets addressedby the business as part of our overall compliance efforts.
Helping the businessimprove, if necessary, by providing value-adding recommendations
Researching specific areasof law which are critical for our compliance efforts. Privacy law is rapidlychanging and we need to understand how it impacts us and what actions we mayhave to take to remain compliant
Benchmarking with otherorganizations even if they are from other industries
Supporting members of theglobal privacy team with various projects and tasks
Possibility to assist thewider Legal team
Requirements
Bachelor or Master degreein law, business or any other related field with an interest in data privacy
Strong English and German skills
Eagerness to work in a dynamicand fast-changing environment
Detail-oriented but at thesame time with the ability to see the big picture and how even a small changecan impact many other areas of the business
Proactive andproblem-solving attitude
