The professional fields of Marketing Research and Consumer Insights are changing in a rapid pace : traditional approaches draw heavily on research in representative samples, consumer and retail panels.
At the same time data from various digital sources can also contribute to analytics, insight creation and quantification questions like estimating the size of a market.
Data triangulation or calibration of digital and non-digital data sources are the traditional approach to bridge the limitations both sources have.
More advanced approaches include merging digital and traditional sources through imputation strategies or data fusion / data enrichment strategies.
JDE is looking to expand the Market Research team with an experienced data scientist with a business interest, knowledgeable in data imputation and fusion techniques for panel data, first, second, and third party data with the objective to making it insightful and actionable for the business.
The latter via visualisation of the information in (automated) dashboards and reporting.
