What you’ll do The Supervisor Procurement & Environment is responsible for all spends within our Distribution Center in Venlo.
He / she is committed to continuously look for new ways of sustainable procurement, recycling and the prevention of waste.
Improve the buying strategy, embed sustainability and proactively drive financial savings. Ensure that all suppliers have a contract in English and the local language (where required) in cooperation with legal teams following the specifications of the related stakeholder.
Carry out regular contract reviews of key suppliers (QBRs). Regularly review and update the Procurement processes and procedures.
Analyze and monitor the material flows within DC Operations (packaging material, pallets, etc), Maintenance, Facility (office supplies, etc) and ensure stock levels by ordering materials.
Initiate ways to decrease waste by reuse and / or recycling of materials, reduce volume of disposals and return materials into to production cycle.
Partner with local Logistics manager in cooperation with the global supply chain procurement team ensuring volume consolidation (brand synergies), cost savings and contract negotiation.
Partner with other local stakeholders in cooperation with the global supply chain procurement team with a focus on optimizations, cost savings and contract negotiation for our Distribution center in Venlo.
Partner with Global Supply Chain procurement team in the US on global procurement synergies and cooperation on environmental initiatives.
Partner with local Operations, Facility, Maintenance and management on procurement of materials and services (cleaning services, catering, etc) You’ll need to have Bachelor degree Proven experience in sustainable procurement Strong negotiation skills (senior level) Supply chain, Logistics, Warehousing Operations understanding and knowledge Excellent knowledge of Excel Excellent knowledge of the English Language (verbal and written), any additional language is a plus We offer Competitive terms of employment Travel allowance Access to our Sample Sale, where you can shop against reduced prices A fast-paced and dynamic culture where you can truly make a difference Professional development opportunities to grow your career Interested?
