Your job Your job As Measuring and Diagnostics (M&D) engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out measurement campaigns onboard our new built vessels and onboard (operational) vessels of our clients.
The purpose of these measurement campaigns is to determine the performance of a system or to troubleshoot a problem. Typical measurements include dredge production system measurements, vibration & noise measurements and shaft power measurements.
You will be responsible for the successful execution of a campaign; from early contact with the internal or external customer, the preparation and execution of the measurements onboard, to the analysis and reporting.
Furthermore, we perform condition monitoring services for (mainly dredging and offshore) vessels of our clients. We integrate online condition monitoring systems in the new build vessels we design and build.
We prepare and execute condition monitoring services (including online and offline measurements) in support of the operations of our customers.
