Service Innovation is leading in the design of the new Digital Services Platform and Algorithms. With the growing business prospects for these services comes the need to expand its organization and infrastructural foundations.
We are moving to a DevOps way of working and as part of that we have the need for a Product Owner for the Digital Services Platform.
What will you do?
The Sr Product Owner Digital Services Platform is responsible for one of the key parts in the Digital Services technology domain and reports into the Manager Digital Service Platform and Algorithms The size of these teams is approx.
25 people including contractors. You will manage and execute the platform roadmap while working closely together with key stakeholders and development teams.
Key stakeholders are Product Owners for Digital Services Algorithms, Platform Solution Architects, the Digital Services Operations Manager and Service Product Management, the Digital Service Delivery organization and the innovation team.
The development team includes developers, subject matter experts and a scrum master.
As a Sr Product owner you are familiar with the commercial roadmap for new service offerings that are introduced to the market and the technology roadmap that enables the development of future services.
You translate that in platform requirements(advanced data analytics) such as for example scaling or data processing requirements.
You also have insight in the performance and cost of the deployed digital service platform.
Based on those insights you steer the prioritization in the platform development.

The digital services platform development is centered around our branches in Eindhoven and Brno.
The position is ideal for a candidate with a proven track record as product owner in an innovative environment who wants to be part of a dynamic and growing Digital Services business, or a candidate with background R&D, Business or IT who wants to broaden his / her experience in the Service business arena.
Our main themes and challenges are the direction of Digital Services and Platforms, Big Data, IoT and DevOps.
The successful candidate will bring the Service Innovation Product management to the next maturity level and prepare for the fast-growing needs for the Digital Services Products & Platform.
Specific responsibilities include :
Maximizing the value of data to information (D2) digital services platform.
Translating the needs of algorithm development teams into platform requirements
Translating the needs of the operations team into platform requirements (e.g. automation, CI / CD, dynamic scaling, costs)
Explaining the business context to the development team
Data-based decisions and prioritizations in the development sprints.
Collecting and meeting customer requirements (external and internal)
Creating and managing the product backlog
Evaluation of the released product based on field feedback (call analysis, Global Technical Support feedback)
Budgeting and reporting
Understanding innovation activities and translating those to potential future platform developments
Communicating across the company Service, Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing and Marketing
Evangelizing the developed products and increasing awareness of Digital Services.
How will you get there?
Technical degree Computer Science, Engineering, Information technology or similar
Good communication and influencing skills; ability to network with different people in the organization
SW development background or strong affinity is preferred
Good feeling for Services business and concepts of digital services
Concept & roadmap thinker with strong hands-on execution mentality
Flexibility of mind to handle business dynamics and eagerness to learn new things
3 years+ experience working as a Product owner in an Agile environment
Knowledge of and experience with SAFe v5 is preferred
Experience with cloud technology is preferred
Experience with machine learning algorithm productization in the cloud is nice to have
Experience with people management, supplier management and project management are preferred
Strong focus on quality, robustness and maintainability of products and processes
Preferred experience in High tech manufacturing and / or Service business
Advanced knowledge of English written and spoken form, demonstrated experience with work in international teams
Flexibility in terms of working hours to meet the needs of international internal customers and team members
