Job Description

As a Project Leader you are responsible for coordinating and monitoring the technical design process of our projects. You are involved in the (further) development of (new) products.

You are responsible for planning, budgeting and monitoring the progress of the project. You monitor the quality and time schedule and you ensure the planning of the test activities.

You interact with the Teamleader on a daily basis and also with Project Leaders, project teams, colleagues from Product Development, Purchasing, Sales, Production Engineering and Production Control.

You also have contact with suppliers about possible components, product properties and the purchase of tests in the test process.

As a Project Leader you report to the Teamleader Project Leaders.

In other words, as a Project Leader :

  • You coordinate the technical design process of the development of new, advanced products and the further development of existing products and special products;
  • You integrate all projects in a project overview including a time schedule;
  • You take care of monthly project reports and monitor progress and costs;
  • You ensure administration for projects within the department.
  • You take care of the test planning;
  • You take care of the technical document management;
  • You arrange the timely inflow of samples and components.
  • You ensures compliance with QHSE guidelines.
  • You analyze the customer requirements, you make an estimate of the workload and you put together a project team;
  • You are responsible for checking and completing the assignment data for each project;
  • You determine the project components and project definitions;
  • You make an estimate of the development costs in consultation with purchasing and you monitor the progress and budget consumption;
  • You make a project planning (APQP) per project, with division of tasks, materials and time commitment (resources).

  • What do we ask of you as a Project Leader?

  • You have HBO work and thinking level (direction technical business administration) supplemented with knowledge of product development ((software) mechanical, electrical);
  • You have experience in managing projects;
  • You work in a project-based, structured and methodical way;
  • You are a good organizer and have a very good sense of prioritization;
  • You are a good negotiator (purchasing experience is a plus), so you can switch quickly and you have a flexible attitude to work;
  • You have knowledge of Automotive Core Tools such as PPAP, APQP and DFMEAs;
  • You have knowledge of customer requirements and applicable laws and regulations.
  • You are a strong communicator and can interact with colleagues;
  • You master the English language (written and spoken);
  • You have up-to-date knowledge in the field of technological development.
