In short

The Program Implementation Manager MMP (Margin management Program) is responsible for enabling and supporting AkzoNobel’s Margin Management Performance cycle in terms of processes & analytics, most notably in terms of contributing to the monthly performance cycle, standard reporting setup as well as connecting to the Integrated Business Planning cycle.

By doing so, he / she will enable a continuous improvement in margin management capabilities globally, across Business Units and functions.

Key responsibilities

As the Program Implementation Manager MMP you Activate and lead global Network to keep our Community informed of global process stabilization & improvement initiatives progress.

In particular :

  • communicate & ensure delivery of global standardized processes,
  • share best practices in global standard process implementation and / or delivery,
  • review & discuss joint process performance challenges,
  • and ensure our Community contributes to define Margin stabilization & performance objectives. Drive development of end user training materials & programs with the involvement of the Margin Management enabler / coach community.
  • contribute to the development of a global Margin Management Performance Cycle and drive its implementation across Business Units and functions across AkzoNobel.
  • Design global standards to improve performance of the Margin Management cycle itself, in terms of end-to-end data driven processes including any other adjacent processes w / in AkzoNobel.

    You closely work with our BU Margin & Pricing Leads to define & implement a robust Margin Management standard reporting incl KPIs.

    You will align on requirements, definitions and consistent set up of reports in standard systems to ensure tracking against targets as well as to drive towards continuous improvement.

  • Organizational Acumen Successfully works the matrix and organizational boundaries to create optimal business outcomes
  • Customer Centricity Ensures all process stabilization & improvement activity is in service of an improved customer experience and Business unit / cross functional requirements.
  • Besides that, you also bring :

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative disciplines (or equivalent) required
  • An advanced degree (MSc, MBA) is preferred (e.g. Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing).
  • Experience in a complex, global, diversified company; proven track record in consulting skills and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop innovative approaches to solve complex problems with sustainable results.
  • Ability to architect large scale technology solutions balancing between leveraging a full suite approach, best of breed and new technology innovations.
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills. Fluency in additional languages a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
