We are looking for a Planning & Improvement Lead who reports directly to the IPT Lead and is accountable for (continuous) improvement of the production processes, sustaining sufficient process knowledge to support day-
to-day troubleshooting and and plays a significant role in developing the strategy of the IPT. In addition, the planning and scheduling functions report to the lead, accountable for managing the short and long term production planning.
You will have responsibility for a team of 6 improvement specialists and 2 planners / schedulers and you will be a key member of the IPT leadership team, responsible for the project portfolio management.
Responsible for first-line troubleshooting, deviation management, process performance monitoring and continuous improvement for Operations; ;
Responsible for management ofg planning & scheduling Owns the Integrated Portfolio Management process, ensuring good project selection, prioritization and resource allocation;
Responsible for improvements in business processes, leveraging lean six sigma and / or Kata mindsets;
Member of Tier 4 leadership team (management team) of the IPT;
Promotes a EHS and Quality culture within the IPT and proactively supports Permanent Inspection Readiness.
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree required (biotechnology, bioprocessing, or engineering preferred);
Minimum of 3 years of experience in biologics manufacturing;
Ability to sponsor EHS, Quality and Financial compliance while meeting manufacturing delivery goals;
Demonstrated Team Leader, with track-record of building high-performing teams and developing talent;
Strong business collaboration through building positive working relationships across the Product Value Streams;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Strong Project Management Skills, with ability to manage / sponsor complex projects;
Experience with Six Sigma and / or Lean principles, such as Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques, Change Execution Management, Standardized work, Scientific problem solving (PDCA), Inclusion, Value stream mapping, SMED, Mistake proofing, 5S, BCCM, Visual factory, DMAIC.
