Strategic Planning Director Marketplace Operations Director Partner and Owned Stores
As ourSr. Inventory Planner, you will create the Inventory Strategy and own InventoryPlanning for your Category / PE. On a regular basis, you will be bringinginventory and PIFOT performance metrics and insights to the Category / S&IPleadership team, ensuring they are aware and informed of the outlook forCategory / PE product supply and inventory health.
Marketplace Operations Development Manager
You willdrive the bi-weekly buy review process, ensuring all materials are planned andcan be purchased on the appropriate timelines.
You will escalate any issuesthat prevent the desired timelines from being met. You will lead thex-functional supply & inventory review meetings for your category, drivingactions to resolve issues when demand & supply do not align.
You willbe forecasting close-out supply and help drive alignment on supply for ourFactory Store Partners. In addition, you may be leading resolution ofcross-
category planning challenges with global or other cross-functionalstakeholders.
You willbe an integral part of the category team and will collaborate closely with the DemandPlanners. At times, you’ll lead deep-
dives on the supply and inventory planning process, identifying inconsistencies or areas forimprovement. In addition, you will be representing the S&IP organization inmeetings and on a wide variety of projects that have implications to ourday-to-day business.
You’llregularly meet with other IP’s and Supply Analysts to drive consensus, document,and implement best practices.’ You will collaborate with your globalcounterparts to leverage learnings and experiences from other geographies.
Other responsibilities will include expert representation during systemupgrades / release cycles, collaborating with stakeholder teams on complex issueresolution, and assisting with new hire training.
Build,set and manage the inventory and buy strategy for your category. The strategywill optimally balance the challenges of maximizing PIFOT, whilst maintainingE2E inventory health.
Lead thecategory supply review meeting. Ensure x-function attendance, share seasonalsupply insights, focusing on risks & opportunities, recommend & driveactions to resolve issues when demand & supply do not align.
Document &communicate follow-ups.
Resolve unplannedand minimum exceptions, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, tomaximize PIFOT. Focus your effort on maximizing PIFOT for launch and brandinitiative styles, category icons and franchises.
Activelylook for and identify PIFOT issue’s, then act to solve them, providingrecommendations to the x-functional team.
LeveragePT parameters (TDS / PDP / BE-BL) to set and execute a segmented pre-build and blindbuy strategy.
Identifyand manage Planned Distribution Profile (PDP) exceptions.
Recommendfill rates where you see potential inventory risk.
ReviewFactory OTP to identify where you may have supply issues in current and futureseasons. Use this to help minimize future risk by recommending changes to PTparameters (PDP / TDS).
Leveragecategory SRI to review and ensure the Buy Strategy for your category / PE doesnot create inventory risk.
Build& maintain strong, positive partnerships with Global Supply and Inventory Planning,Sales Planning, Nike Direct Planning, Demand Planning, Marketplace Operations,and your colleagues in EMEA S&IP to drive stronger business results andresolve issues.
Whenneeded, participate in the Global S&IP Alignment calls
Contributeto EMEA DSM Strategy deployment process and or other projects.
UtilizeLEAN methodology (as applicable) through problem-solving and processimprovement activities.
Providetraining and mentorship to other team members on a regular basis.
Provideback-up for teammates as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business operations, or related field (2 additional years’ experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree)
5 plus years forecasting, buying, inventory planning or related experience
Proven ability to apply advanced planning analysis techniques
Strong computer skills including ability to use complex query tools and create reports with database and / or spreadsheet programs
Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain systems
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Ability to mentor / train others
Experience in the Footwear and Apparel industry preferred
Knowledge of SAP preferred
