Maritime Project Engineer
Tasks and responsibilities :
Assist in the identification of safety risk assessment and environmental aspects / impacts for vessel operations;
Ensure compliance with applicable legal and other requirements by all vessels and raise corrective action when necessary;
Maintain Safety Management System (SMS) updates with consistent improvement to produce quality, accuracy, adequate and efficient procedures.
Provide and develop constructive new ideas;
Maintain, control and monitor port and charterer requirements, in conjunction with the technical superintendent;
Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals;
Conduct regular meetings with regions operations team to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner;
Document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients.
To be successful in this role you will have :
A bachelor’s degree in maritime engineering;
3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
Experience in an international setting;
Fluent (verbal and written) in English;
Excellent IT skills;
Take initiative, and Excellent communication skills with ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly;
Team player, and able to engage and cooperate at all organizational levels;
Confident decision-making ability.

We offer hybrid working conditions. It is a fulltime position (32 to 40 hours).
