What you’ll do

You will work within the Enterprise marketing team to increase the awareness, consideration and preference of TomTom with our target audience, mostly SME and Enterprise B2B customers, including developers.

Your goal is to define and implement the communications strategy in a broad context, so our brand becomes part of the narrative in this space.

This means you will have to engage all relevant stakeholders to embark on our journey to become the leading player with the smartest and freshest maps in the world.

Oversee all internal and external communications for our Enterprise business, ensuring its message is consistent, and engaging while reaching key business objectives.

Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.

Your role will also help shape the content strategy together with the Enterprise product marketing and digital marketing team.

Develop and implement key co-marketing and partnership programs increasing loyalty in our customer relationships while developing new business leads and opportunities for sales.

Develop, implement, and manage an influencer program. Reaching out to influencers, media and beyond to arrange story placement on a national and global level.

Translate TomTom’s global corporate PR strategy into local market activities to ensure the message resonates in the enterprise market, working closely with our Global PR team.

Manage local media, in close collaboration with the Global PR team and the local PR agency. Interact, develop and nurture press relationships to effectively change the perception of TomTom from a consumer electronics company to leading player in high tech map making.

Proactively identify, share and make recommendations on communication channels that TomTom should have a voice in.

Secure speaking opportunities for TomTom spokespeople at key industry events

Represent the organization at events and press conferences

Work with different marketing departments to generate new ideas and strategies

What you’ll need

6+ years of marketing communications experience, preferably in B2B technology

Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, PR or a related field.

Excellent writing skills; you are a self-starter.

A confident communicator and presenter

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Experience interacting with media, internal and external PR teams and agencies.

Co-marketing and partnership experience. Developer marketing experience is also a plus!

A global view and the cultural sensitivity that goes with it

Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media / social media
