The Vice President, New Business, Growth Team is primarily responsible for identifying and building relationships with prospects that will result in the purchase or buying of performance marketing services from Performics and the Publicis Groupe portfolio.
This person will be responsible for expanding the Performics brand and business nationally across U.S. markets and supporting global new business and marketing efforts.
Role Objectives :
Responsible for creating a successful business development strategy and leading the execution of the agency against it, including defining the agency’s value proposition and its go to market strategy
Identify, influence, pitch, and close deals with potential customers leading and leveraging the Performics brand and team
Cultivate business relationships through networking, industry events, and outbound marketing
Work with and form strategic alliance partnerships to drive business opportunity and build revenue growth
Support global business development
Responsible for leading and directing a team in creating, implementing, and measuring the success of comprehensive marketing, communications that will enhance the agency’s image, and distinct position within the marketplace
Ensure articulation and consistent communication of the agency’s desired image and position
This position will require experience in strategically servicing and closing multi-million dollar digital marketing assignments and deals in the areas of branding, digital marketing, strategy development, content marketing, performance, and search marketing
10+ years in digital and technology - related strategy and business development with 6+ years of specific digital marketing services experience with Sr.
level executives of Fortune companies
Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals and responsibilities
Excellent knowledge about the interactive marketing landscape
Ability to lead and align a team of people, including those that don’t directly report to you, through a complex new business process
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to connect with all personality types
Ability and desire to be a visible industry thought leader and spokesperson
Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skill
