As a member of the EMEA marketing team, you will contribute to Mizuno’s dynamic growth ambitions in the region Europe, Middle East and Africa.
You will be part of an experienced and ambitious team at our recent established EMEA Headquarter in Rotterdam and collaborate closely with our local country marketing teams.
During the 115 years since our foundation in Japan, Mizuno has built a strong reputation in the world of sports and we are ready for the next 100 years.
This year, we celebrate the 25th anniversary of our most iconic running shoe, the Wave Rider, and we will soon launch our new exciting global running campaign.

In this role, you will create and activate all sorts of marketing plans for the Running category in the EMEA region, based on our global marketing strategy and local requirements.
You will also have a strong input in the global marketing strategy for Mizuno Running.
Being part of a young, international and dynamic EMEA Marketing team, you will work closely with specialists from other departments, other offices (including HQ) and you will love the room for own initiatives and working for one of our most important categories.
Creation and activation of marketing plans for the Running category in EMEA and present these at EMEA Marketing Meetings and Conferences.
Work closely with our Global Marketing Office in Japan and aligning go-to-market activation plans with our local offices in EMEA.
Support roll out of activation plans through our owned B2C channels.
Implementation of Sustainability goals into the Running Marketing strategy.
Brief to and work with our marketing agencies on seasonal and cross-seasonal campaigns :
Creation of seasonal agency briefs for content creation
Daily alignment on asset progress
Planning and organization of photoshoots
Co-creation of seasonal marketing deliverables.
General Brand Marketing and Trade Marketing input.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis and performance analyses.
You will work closely with specialists from the EMEA Marketing, Product and E-commerce teams as well as all local marketing teams in the EMEA region.
Work closely with and report to Marketing Manager EMEA.
Completed a relevant Higher education / University degree in Marketing, Communications or Commercial Business or similar.
Minimum of 5-10 years work experience in Marketing.
Love for sports in general is a pre, love for running is a must .
Interest in international business.
Good level of English (spoken and written).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Knowing the sports retail industry is a pre.
Excellent MS Office skills and basic level of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign are a pre.
Entrepreneurial, pro-active and result-oriented.
