Our EMEA brand support center in Hoofddorp is looking for a Core Planner, which is accountable for overseeing Global Demand and Supply across Core product.

The goal of the Core planner is to establish and lead forecasting processes with Regional planning leads by driving cross-functional alignment in order to achieve in-stock program and to be able to build long term Demand plans.

Core planner is responsible to maximize cash flows, sales and services levels while managing inventory levels.

What will you do?

Build Long term Demand Plans for Core :

  • Analyze historical trends and financial forecasts to build long term bottom-up demand plan for Core products
  • Partner with Sales and Merchandising to integrate customer feedback in future product planning decision
  • Align with Finance on long term revenue rolling forecast and regional growth strategy
  • Communicate the product inventory strategies to the Global Supply Planning team
  • Work with Sourcing and Development to identify solutions to functional and operational conflicts within the plans
  • In Season Management :

  • Align with Regional Demand Planning to produce global forecasts that drive global inventory buys. Sign-off Global inventory strategy with Senior Leadership Team via monthly Executive buy reviews
  • Maintain a constant relationship with the sales, merchandising, finance, sourcing and supply teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers
  • Maintain optimal inventory level and balanced replenishment on SKU level based on Global demand and adapting the forecast to the market dynamic by calling off booked capacity and initiate operational corrective actions
  • Challenge the forecasts from the Regional teams by providing relevant data analysis (historical data, seasonality, market trends, marketing launches, financial plans)
  • Integrate MFP process of Core to the Global Merch plan :

  • Assess, determine, and recommend Core styles changes together with Global MP based on historical sales and long-term plans
  • Work closely with Global MFP team to integrate core plans into region-channel enriched plans
  • Participate as needed in IBP / Seasonal Plan Alignment and other meetings to give visibility on Core inventory strategies
  • Data Integration and Reporting :

  • Provide visibility on inventory KPIs including, but not limited to Weeks of Coverage, Stock turns, Inventory Cost
  • Ensure data integration across different systems and planning tools
  • Minimum Education :

  • Undergraduate degree with a background in Supply Chain, Business or Mathematics is required; Master Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management strongly preferred
  • Minimum Experience :

  • 5-7 years planning experience (Demand / Supply) in a multichannel setting
  • Strong preference for consumer goods, footwear or fashion / apparel industry experience
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Demand Planning experience is required
  • Must have extensive experience and fluency in Excel tools and functionality
  • Familiarization with Inventory and Service level planning
  • Experience with MFP, Demand Planning systemic solutions; ideally with o9 Solutions
  • Travel Requirements :

  • up to 20% including International as well as Domestic US travel
