Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities Summary : Inventory Planner is responsible for monitoring and analysing inventory levels for all international distribution centers to ensure the right products are available at the right time.
Collaborating with the supply team to ensure safety stock levels are accurate and inventory is accurately balanced and allocated across the organization Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Monitoring inventory levels across all international distribution centers
Collaborating with Supply planner to set safety stock levels
Introduce process improvement initiatives to the inventory management system and other related business processes which help to drive efficiencies, reduce operating costs and increase inventory accuracy.
Develop strong working relationships with the local operations organizations and global order fulfillment organization.
Escalating material shortages to management team
Monitoring expiration of products in local distribution centers and customer sites
Create ad-hoc analysis to identify and react to current and future business trends
Analyzing inventory patterns to reallocate and rebalancing excess across distribution sites
Determining inventory allocation
Monitoring performance in line with global key performance indicators
Required Skills / Capabilities
Experience in working in an International environment
Customer-oriented, pro-active and can do mentality
Good communication skills - Fluent in English. Preferably second language.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Windows based computer applications
Experience with ERP systems (SAP and / or SAP Business One is a pre)
Education and Experience
Required educational background : MBO / HBO (Supply chain related) and >
3 years of relevant working experience in a similar position.
Ideally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in Inventory management and / or Supply Chain Management
