Proven ability to work in a matrix environment. The successful candidate will also drive standardization, development and campaigns in multimedia and automotive to help drive business of interface IP in focused market segments.
Responsible for pre-sales technical marketing programs for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance, or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.
Works closely with Product Marketing to support the development of effective sales collateral development, pricing and packaging strategies, competitive analysis, product roll out and positioning, and technical sales training.
Interacts with customers, R&D, and Application Engineering teams and sets product plans in the marketplace. Makes technical presentations on the product(s).
Creates and maintains technical presentation material, white papers, and other related collateral.
Relevant experience in a technical marketing role for software products in the high-tech industry. Technical orientation and understanding of ASIC design process is important.
Requires deep technical understanding in Camera, Display protocols (such as : CSI, DSI, HDMI, etc), their applications and use cases.
Able to understand customer motivation, articulate advantages of existing products and define future products that consist competitive advantage for the target applications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the resources, programs and processes to meet the financial plan for HDMI product line.
The candidate will oversee the definition of business models, pricing and packaging strategies for the product line, overall product line positioning and creation of internal and external collateral, and will work closely with the field organization, key customers, R&D and strategic partners to identify and drive strategic business opportunities.
Track record of successfully launching, managing and growing products.
Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of related experience. Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to independently resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Understands customer wants and needs. Customarily exercises a high level of independent judgment and interpretation in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
Frequently performs in project leadership role. Drives programs and business initiatives. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and projects.
Offers new solutions or direction and is able to encourage and motivate others to support new solution or direction. May advise senior management on specialized technical or business issues.
May coordinate activities of other personnel as a team lead. Represents the organization as the principle contact on business unit and / or company-
wide projects. Interacts with management and senior external personnel on matters requiring coordination across internal groups.
Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
Requires exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
Experience in the Automotive industry is preferred.
