  • Under the direction of the EMEA Finance Group, establish and run all sourcing and procurement activities for the organization.
  • Build relationship and provide effective business support and develop category strategies in close collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Develop purchasing strategies and translate in concrete action plans
  • Establish and foster compliance and best practices, define policies and guidelines
  • Design cost target reductions while simultaneously guaranteeing quality assurance and security of supply as well as proportional contractual risks
  • Monitor "Procure-to-Pay" platform and associated provider.
  • Establish trusted business partner relationship with category leaders, provide effective business support to ensure quality of supply at optimum Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) with optimized business results including supply assurance, cost, quality, service, innovation & sustainability.
  • Apply and adapt appropriate strategies for each category, to optimize business results and added-value for business leaders
  • Continuously improve quality of supplier base by means of proactive exercise of influence and monitoring
  • Lead or support major competitive bids and contract negotiations.
  • Design and implement cost reduction initiatives
  • Leverage and consolidate supplier base where it makes sense, define e-catalog at local or regional level whenever possible
  • Eliminate unnecessary administrative burden on business users whenever possible
  • Design and operate lean and business effective policies, approval processes and workflows, mainly for indirect spend categories in full alignment with Group policies, budget requirements, reporting and other key activities
  • Implement best practices in relation to RFP's, supplier selection criteria's, KPI's, QBR's
  • Liaise with Legal Contract Management Team to manage appropriate contractual risk.
  • Identify cost savings and supplier consolidation opportunities, execute in close collaboration and buy-in of business stakeholders
  • Identify trends and / or issues that need improvement within the category accounts, identify the Purchasing gaps and use Market knowledge gained through industry analysis, supplier analysis and competitive analyses
  • Monitor "Procure-to-Pay" end-to-end tools and processes, recommend and implement changes and improvement on a continuous basis to optimize workflows and reduce admin burden
  • Support company vision and mission, demonstrate core Corporate values in all activities
  • Functie-eisen :

  • Higher education in business or economics
  • Certificate or further qualification in Purchasing / Sourcing
  • Market analysis, Supplier selection, Financial Planning and Reporting
  • Min 3 to 4 years in relevant working experience, in a company with a mature purchasing organization
  • Practical experience in managing an outsourced "Procure-to-pay" organization
  • Specific experience and expertise in various indirect categories (Marketing Services, Consulting, Travel, Advertising, )
  • Demonstrated success in building relationships across all levels within an organization
  • Experience with supplier management, RFP's, negotiation, relationship management, quality management
  • Significant knowledge and practical experience in all legal aspects related to contract, liabilities & T&C's
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism. Solution-driven and process improvement mind set.

  • Independent and proactive self-starter who operates with a strong sense of ownership for projects and results,
