What will you do?
Find the best scientific strategy to characterize the quality, safety, and efficacy of our products.
Ensure that all analytical activities are focused on answering questions that lead to better decisions and high-quality products for our clients.
Lead analytical projects with minimal direction and represent the AD team as a core member in projects focusing on coordinating resources to meet project timelines
Liaises with internal scientific, analytical, and laboratory functional areas to meet project and team objectives.
Perform all duties in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and Safety guidelines.
Effectively engage with the internal and external scientific community to stay updated with new analytical technologies and strategies.
Collaborate with peers and mentor scientists in analytical method development, validation, and transfer.
How will you get here?
Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related physical science. Advanced degree preferred.
Typically requires 6 years progressive scientific experience, including 4 years in a related life sciences field. For master’s degree, typically requires 4 years of related experience.
For PhD, circa 2 years’ experience. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
Significant experience with analytical methods development is needed.
Excellent knowledge of subject matter(s) related to analytical method development and validation, along with a sound understanding of principles and concepts in other relevant subject areas.
A passion for the use of scientific methodology in enabling method development strategies and solving problems.
Detailed knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and ICH guidelines.
An evidence-based approach to critical thinking, being able to tell a story to drive decisions and lead technical discussions with internal and external clients.
The capability to build solutions in a multifunctional team environment, to learn new concepts & technology and keep up to date with scientific literature and industry trends for analytical technologies.
