We are currently looking for an experienced Scrum Master to help up to two Scrum Teams at our DEGIRO offices. Your responsibility will be to help develop the DEGIRO Agile Way of Working further and help Product Owners, Business Analysts and developers reach their sprint goals.
You will provide servant leadership and ensure team happiness of your development teams.
What do you do all day?
You process thousands of incoming trades in a fraction of a second.
Your service talks directly to stock exchanges, and cleverly assesses each transaction
You make stuff that is used by tons of people around the world.
You love showing what you and your squad have created every sprint.
You coach your back-end buddies in being better, stronger, faster.
You improve coding standards, developer tools, and everything else a great developer needs.
What do you know?
Software Engineering. Creating great software is more than writing code, and you know the difference.
C++ 17 (moving to 20). We do have some modern standards!
Docker / k8s / helm, anything for a modern CI / CD environment.
MySQL, because, well you have to store it somewhere for now.
Microservices. Make each service do one thing well.
Agile. The how to build great products kind.
You may be overheard saying things like
I'm lazy... I hate manual steps for testing, building, deploying.
Squad performance is what matters.
Bugs are inevitable, but I take them personally.
Production support starts with me.
I fix things when they're broken, and if nothing is broken, I improve things.

At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
