What do you do?

We are looking for a talented, strong Consolidation Analyst who thrives in an international, dynamic environment. You report to the Group Consolidation and Accounting Manager, work closely together with your HQ Finance colleagues and the regional Finance Teams.

In this position you will be co-responsible for managing and executing the statutory consolidation of group results. You prepare statutory consolidated financial statements, incl.

sub consolidations, on a quarterly basis, will contribute to the annual financial statement and support during the year end audit.

On a monthly basis you manage the intercompany processes, review Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss account reconciliations and prepare elimination journal entries.

For this you will be in close contact with your finance colleagues on HQ and regional level to make sure the intercompany reporting is accurate & transparent.

It is important to set up a solid structure where you account for the right documentation and (when necessary) position papers during the year so that the year-end closing and consolidation will run smoothly.

The statutory consolidation process is currently being executed by an outsourced partner and after the go-live of the new consolidation & planning tool OneStream this process will be insourced and handled by the new Consolidation Analyst.

Although a lot of the processes will have been set up in OneStream before your arrival, you will be stimulated to streamline and optimize the consolidation & reporting process and tooling wherever possible.

  • As the Consolidation Analyst you will be getting training in OneStream for you to be able to become a key user, being able to train colleagues and manage system changes;
  • e.g. set up new entities, changes in Gaap / IFRS / Chart of Accounts or changes in business model which have an accounting impact (e.

    g. on revenue accounting).

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Accountancy
  • 5-7 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Financial Accounting, Reporting and Consolidation
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Consolidation Tools
  • Knowledge of IFRS & (local)Gaap
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German or Spanish is an advantage
  • Proven experience of working in a complex, demanding organisation and having international exposure
  • Ability to work well in high pressure situations in order to meet deadlines; able to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities, organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals;
