In this role you will need to grow towards a technology leadership position within 2 years.
You will support the new product developments and existing product lines within Malvern Panalytical's X-ray products based on inputs from multiple stakeholders via reviews, design, outsourcing and testing.
What are your responsibilities?
You will acquire and maintain knowledge of up-to-date design principles and available technology and its potential application for Malvern Panalytical.
You will propose and present realistic design options based on cost, market value and available capabilities (solicited or unsolicited).
You will define verification and validation strategies and write clear test plans based on multiple stakeholders.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
Bachelor / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant field
You can show broad experience with motion control for advanced mechatronics.
Knowledge of product and assembly processes.
A drive to work in a high-tech environment with the ambition to contribute to the development of new products.
You enjoy leading the way and taking responsibility. You see opportunities, explore, and seize them.
Affinity with technology road mapping.
A balanced view on introduction of new technology versus project risks.
Strongly results-driven with respect to problem solving : Ability to understand and act as needed based on a problem description.
You have good capabilities in reading and writing English and Dutch.
You can express yourself in English and Dutch.
