Associate Portfolio Manager (Marketing) EMEA Medical Acute Care
Location : Amsterdam with up to 40% travel
You will be the Project Expert for Acute Care products coming to EMEA short-term and long-term.
As part of the growing Acute Care EMEA Portfolio team, this role will be crucial to ensuring new product development and sustaining projects across various sites (Kalamazoo, Redmond and Lund) are on-time, on-task and extremely well organized for hand off to downstream marketing for product launch.
This role will be responsible for representing EMEA needs, priorities, and visibility to specific project teams.
Represent EMEA needs and priorities with ongoing new product development and sustaining projects to several manufacturing sites (Kalamazoo, Redmond and Lund)
Drive product launch excellence by partnering with Brand marketing to ensure seamless hand-off of new products for launch
Build relationships and influence across numerous functional areas to drive project completion
Collaborate in creating project requests for identified EMEA product gaps
Collaborate with Brand marketing on an ongoing basis to ensure appropriate project prioritization and execution
Be the project expert and continually communicate any project changes to ensure transparency and expectations are set for central marketing leadership.
Formal present project updates to EMEA leadership
Fight for EMEA relevance, importance and on-time execution of projects.
Have high-level view of all project status, risks, and timelines
Raise concerns that may impact EMEA with project teams and leadership to ensure proper visibility and focus
Qualifications / Tenure :
Minimum 6 years of sales, R&D or marketing experience, preferably in the Pharma / med-tech industry.
Downstream marketing experience highly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Life Science or relevant field.
Proven experience in cross-functional projects
Proven project management experience
Passion for high level view with ability to dive deep on details
Experience / Skills :
Fluent / Native English. Additional languages highly preferred (Dutch, Spanish,Italian, Arabic)
Ability to challenge the status quo
Understanding of project management processes, planning and execution
Ability to make priorities heard (quantitative and qualitative) via formal presentations, business cases and discussions
Strong relationship building skills across cross functional project teams that are based remotely
Strong communication skills
Highly organized and strategic thinking to solve obstacles and propose solutions
Track record as contributor in cross-functional projects
