The Sales Compensation Specialist is responsible for the excellence of the Sales Incentive Process at Stryker EMEA.
You will act as a Subject Matter Expert when it comes to Sales Incentive Processing for Europe, Middle East and Africa. You will support the day to day process of Sales Incentive Compensation by coordinating multiple sources of information and stakeholders liaising with external providers, Sales Operations, Business, Finance and HR to ensure our plan design is calculated and delivered to the right standards.
Key Activities & Accountabilities :
Sales Incentive Compensation 80% of the role
Coordinate the operational delivery of the Sales Incentives program in partnership with the Sales Compensation Manager, Finance, HR and third-party suppliers, ensuring on time and accurate pay-outs
Support the Sales Compensation Manager, Business, Sales Operations, Human Resources and Finance in projects such as sales compensation analysis
Support the evaluation of the results of existing plan designs and makes recommendations for improving incentive program effectiveness.
Design communications on Sales Incentive Compensation Plan
Supports the annual sales awards process
Support the Sales Compensation Manager, EMEA in responsible and business focused management of Reward spend 20% of the role
Support the maintenance of pay structures, and the annual Compensation & Benefits cycle (survey selection, benchmarking, planning, salary review, bonus, and incentive pay planning, etc.)
Support the set up and maintenance of systems for the implementation and calculation of bonus plans
Liaison between HR and all other functions providing input for bonus calculation
Participate in market and salary surveys.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements
University degree in Finance or Human Resources, or similar experience;
Good knowledge of sales compensation principles and practices
2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role, in an International environment;
Very good analytical skills
Strong stakeholder management
Experience in Systems, in particular compensation management tools
Highly numerate and advanced Excel experience
Experienced in data analysis, interpretation and presentation to advise and support decision makers
Ability to break down complex problems into constituent subtasks
Highly proactive, ability to organize stakeholder meetings
Assertive, clear communicator
