In this role, you have the opportunity to
Create successful sell out activities, through the development and implementation of trade marketing plans (local shopper activation plan).
Initiate and stimulate the local and regional trade marketing actions towards local markets, distributors and resellers.
You manage performance of Promotional spend, within the framework of the integrated A&P and trade spend planning to deliver effectiveness for in-store activation, both on- and offline.
You are leading the implementation of the promotional strategy (delivered by the Marketing Engagement and Planning team) overseeing that the strategy is operationalized in the countries.
You are implementing best practices and delivering key insights to increase our promotion effectiveness and on-shelf visibility at Joint Business Builders.
This position can be based in The Netherlands or Europe Market Remote.
You are responsible for
Initiate and realize local or regional trade marketing actions and promotions on the basis of the recommendations and promotion effectiveness insights, in order to optimize stock levels in the chain, to stimulate sell-out and loyalty of the distribution channel.
Define and formulate observations and recommendations for new activities through analysis of sales data and through monitoring the success of the trade marketing activities.
Define requirements for the shopper research (execution in MI&A)
Strong collaboration with Marketing & Engagement Planning team, to provide retro-feeding to enrich the promotional activity based on Promo effectiveness learnings
Manages performance of P-spend, within the framework of the integrated A&P and trade spend planning to deliver effectiveness for in-store activation, both on- and offline.
Closely cooperate with the Amazon EU lead, IKAM / D2B lead, D2C Lead to realize sales targets at key customers, and provides input for local channel Strategy
Optimize (offline / online) shelve (portfolio, price points, promotions), owning in-store and online excellence execution to drive brand preference, increase conversion and basket size
Responsible for retail training, customer POS and conceptual selling (trade decks, etc.)
Manage category captain-ships or advisor-ships and coordinate the activities between the local markets to share experiences
Responsible for the European post promotional effectiveness measurement, in close collaboration with the global Trade Shopper marketing lead and the MI&A team and local markets
Help develop the EU7 merchandising tool-kits and Shopper content across categories to be used at local level
Provide solutions fitting all retail landscape Europe Market PH for winning omnichannel customer journey
Responsible for providing toolbox and digital box including D2B portal needs

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
A master’s degree with >
5 years of experience in trade shopper marketing and marketing / sales
Experience in digital marketing and e-commerce of advantage
Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision making
Very proficient in excel (pivot, formula, macro) and good experience in using analytics tools (e.g. Qlik Sense, Power BI).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a virtual team with a wide array of stakeholders (cross-functional, cross-layer)
Good experience in Project management
Strong conceptual and analytical skills but also hands-on
Comfortable and able to thrive with ambiguity while managing critical stakeholders
