Sales Development Team Lead

As a Sales Development Team Lead ,you’ll be among one of the founding team of our new Amsterdam office that will launch Tipalti into the European market.

To continue our explosive growth and build on our unicorn status we are creating a world class sales org in Europe.

The mission of this role is to be a player-coach , supporting the development and growth of the SDR function to unlock our growth and team potential.

You should be a pro at outbound prospecting, utilizing targeted accounts strategies in partnership with sales to unlock potential opportunity.

This will be a player-coach role initially, with the potential to evolve to manager only as the team grows over the next 12 months.

You will be responsible for

  • You will be responsible for developing and coaching a team of 2 SDRs for the Dutch & German region
  • Utilizing Tipalti world class tech stack, Sales Force, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Six Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Chorus, and Clari to generate a qualified pipeline for Account Executives.
  • Ensuring you and your team consistently hit all key targets and metrics.
  • Driving growth in the market and leading the team who will be responsible for the large proportion of pipeline for the Account Executive team.
  • Partnering with our Marketing Team to continually enhance the quality of inbound leads.
  • Assessing the team's performance through various analytics dashboards, understanding where the gaps are and fixing the problems.
  • Provide accurate forecasts to the sales organization and executive management team
  • About You

  • You will have a proven track record as an SDR within a tech company within a leadership role
  • Experience of building intelligent, forward thinking, priority driven sales teams
  • Strong use of insights and data-driven decision making to inform the sales process and guide others.
  • Experience of partnering and collaborating well with other teams (esp. Marketing, Account Executives & Sales Operations).
  • Proactive mindset and upbeat personality, with strong organizational skills.
