Responsibilities : Work with the Product Owner and Delivery Manager to ensure both requested features, and proposed solution align Analyze functional and technical requirements, raise any potential issues, and opportunities for cost reduction or performance improvement Learning and providing support for meteorological applications across the European weather rooms.
Discovery efforts around legacy tools and potential paths for modernization / consolidation of the tool set. Developing and documenting deployment and CI / CD process.
Investigating problem reports and troubleshooting issues. Improving the overall cohesiveness, experience, and quality of the team’s applications.
NET, C++, HTML, CSS, Batch, and Node.js. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, or DynamoDB.
Understanding of API paradigms like REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets. Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
js is considered a plus. Strong ability to effectively use Linux and Amazon Web Services including S3, Glacier, SES, CloudFormation, Terraform, Lambda, Kinesis Data Streams, ElasticCache, Redis Data Store, and Elastic Search Service.
Familiarity with tools like Atlassian Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence, and Jira. Experience with source control and versioning concepts using Git Effective oral, written, and visual communication.

Education Requirement : 4-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science and Business-related studies 6+ years of software development experience
