This is the role
The Commercial Manager, CCS (Carbon capture and storage) and Hydrogen is responsible for the development and execution of the LyondellBasell global commercial strategy in the Carbon Capture and Hydrogen space.
The Commercial Manager’s focus will be development and execution of strategy, positioning our company within chosen CCS and / or Hydrogen projects and / or consortia, to be ready to implement Hydrogen and CCS projects at company sites, with a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the project(s) involved including commercial, partners, project structure risks, optionalities, economics, benefits and cost performance.
This position will collaborate actively with internal stakeholders throughout the various functions and businesses.
He / she will be the Hydrogen CCS Team focal point within the CRP program, interfacing with the site decarbonization roadmap initiatives.
This position will interface externally with Commercial Providers, Forum and Consortium (WEF, Hydrogen Council), Consultants, Government Regulators, Industry Associations and other potential partners along the value chain.
The individual in this position must possess a span of knowledge which would allow for sufficient review, both economic and risk, of the key technologies and pathways for decarbonization and / or the energy transition.
The individual must have an understanding of the evolving commercial and industry CCS / H2 landscape as well as strong skills in the areas of strategic vision and thinking, risk, technical and economics assessment, collaboration (multi-functional and cross-geographic), communication, organization and drive for results.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key internal stakeholders include : global and regional procurement, O&P and I&D business management, R&D, manufacturing, SP&T, supply chain, legal, government affairs, corporate communications, and finance.
