In Breda, Amgen has a labeling, packaging and distribution facility since 1997. Our Warehouse & Distribution department, part of the Site Supply Chain organization, plays a vital role in fulfilling Amgen’s mission to supply Amgen’s medicines to millions of patients.

We fuel the labeling & packaging lines in our Production facility in Breda and ensure on-time delivery of orders to customers across all continents and in more than 75 markets.

All of our processes are highly regulated according to the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). We are audited against these guidelines frequently by internal and external parties.

The Amgen business in Breda has grown significantly in the past years. This is caused by geographic expansion, volume growth and an increased product portfolio.

This growth is expected to continue in the years ahead of us. We are exceeding the storage capacity of our internal warehouse and utilize multiple external warehouses managed by 3rd parties.

To help us with these challenges, we are looking for a Warehouse Support & Inventory Coordinator to join our Warehouse and Distribution Support team.

  • As Warehouse Support & Inventory Coordinator you hold a key role in ensuring that Amgen’s warehouse operations run efficiently;
  • today, tomorrow, next week, and the following months.

    As this is a newly created position, you also will get the opportunity to help shape the position yourself! Moreover, we offer an opportunity to join a company in which you can further grow and develop within supply chain, operations, and / logistics.

    Your responsibilities as Warehouse Inventory Coordinator :

  • Coordinate and plan material movements to and from our external warehouses
  • Handle material availability escalations for both Production and Order Fulfillment
  • Represent W&D department in cross-departmental projects and drive internal warehouse improvement initiatives
  • Provide GMP support, working with Quality System and document process deviations in our Quality System
  • You cooperate with internal stakeholders (Inbound, Outbound) and get input from different departments from rest of the Breda site
  • Requirements :

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Logistics, Supply Chain) or equivalent through relevant work experience
  • Experienced user of (SAP) WMS systems
  • Proficient in English, both in oral and written communication
  • Good understanding of end-to-end operational business processes
  • Improvement mindset and interest in operational excellence & Lean principles
  • Relevant work experience in distribution environment and / or pharma is a pre
