If needed, or desired, you can spend your working time at our modern office at the Automotive Campus close to Helmond (travel allowance included).
Here you can enjoy a good cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate, fresh fruit and experience the buzz of the office and the labs / workshops.
So, let's assume it's Friday, you chose to come to our office and you will start your day, if you like coffee, at the coffee machine.
Normally people will ask how you're doing or your morning is so far. Yet, what happens a lot, when they see you and they know you’re from the homologation domain, they start immediately asking questions.
In this role it’s really important to have an open communication with everybody and coffee machine talks help with that.
Sometimes a small mark on a topic can have a big influence on the design / validation of the vehicle. Could be that you can answer the question immediately, or you schedule a meeting later the day / week.
The domain has regular check-ins with other systems. At the moment this domain consists of two people, which means 3 including you.
You will mostly be busy with the high volume series which means you will have to answer a lot of questions. You will have meetings during the day with people internally and externally to get your answers.
Also, you will join the high volume series project meetings to share your thoughts and knowledge. People expect that you will be proactive, which means not so many people will tell you what to do, company and the team expects that you investigate the right things (markets, regulations, etc.
to homologate the vehicle in all targeted markets / regions. That makes this role so nice, you can be your own boss!
Lastly, you have some time to work on some other tasks and your typical weekly documentation. Then, it's finally time for your well-deserved Friday afternoon drink or you participate in one of the fun activities our happiness team comes up with!
