Job Description

Senior Accountant responsible for statutory accounting, financial reporting and compliance for the 6 legal entities in the Netherlands.

The role is a high profile position overseeing all accounting aspects for Intel's key foreign holding and finance entities, collaborating very closely with Global Tax, Treasury and other business groups, as well as Dutch tax authorities and auditors EY to ensure statutory compliance with Dutch GAAP and local tax regulations.

The position is a key business partner to the directors of the Dutch entities. The role also includes being the key partner to the Tax organization for corporate restructures within the extensive foreign holding structure with 100B of holdings.

The role may define the accounting system roadmap and system requirements of the future and assist or direct system programming resources in the development of accounting systems.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

Face of Finance in the Netherlands for external engagements with Dutch Tax authorities

Entity restructures oversight within Intel Finance / Intel Holdings structure; Supporting entity restructures resulting from both M&A activity and tax initiatives and providing consulting on Dutch local statutory impact

Building and maintaining business relationship with external auditors in the Netherlands at the partner level

Driving annual audit planning, overseeing and managing external statutory as well as tax audits for the Dutch entities

Early engagement with the Global Tax team on key tax initiatives impacting the Dutch holding structure

Influencing, management and oversight of integration and merger activities in the Netherlands

Responsibility for all aspects of financial reports to Dutch GAAP (general ledger, pensions, fixed assets, month and year end closing procedures)

Qualifications

Candidate must be a Dutch qualified Accountant,

Master Business Administration and Business Economics is highly desirable

Fluency in the Dutch language is a must

Experience in Dutch Big Four highly desirable

Technical accounting knowledge of Dutch and US GAAP

Working knowledge of Navision is a plus

Proven track of hands-on experience in corporate restructures

Strong business partnering and influencing skills

Clear communication skills both written and verbal at all levels

Good attention to detail with the ability to analyses data and identify and communicate trends.
