We are looking for a HBO student Business Administration or MSc student Life Sciences / Process Technology with a Business or Management specialization who is searching for a challenging internship in our innovative company?

Your internship project

As an intern you are responsible increasing the efficiency of our master seed production process. This is a process that takes place in a cleanroom environment.

Within our department the production of master seed is an essential part of the development of new virological vaccines.

The success rate of this process can be increased to reduce lead-time and reduce rework. That is why you will look at a sustainable and user-friendly robust process together with the users and stakeholders.

You will work a lot with team members from the Bio Technology Solution (BTS) department. During your internship you will share progress with the different stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

  • Mapping and assessing the current situation
  • Talk to the users to find out what they want
  • Setting up the future situation
  • Approach and follow-up to realization
  • Proof and celebrate success achieved
  • Providing a fresh perspective within the department : your opinion matters.
  • The above-mentioned responsibilities are an indication of what you will be doing after proper onboarding and initial learning and development.

    This provides you with the opportunity to learn and hereafter perform tasks independently. In consultation with your supervisor, you could take on additional tasks and responsibilities.

    Who are you?

  • An HBO student Business Administration or MSc student Life Sciences / Process Technology with a Business or Management specialization
  • You have an improvement mindset not afraid to think outside the box
  • You are enthusiastic about working on the interface between science and production
  • You are familiar with Lean Six Sigma
  • You are enthusiastic about working in the pharmaceutical industry and working with different stakeholders
  • Preferable you are familiar with aseptic techniques or feel comfortable working in a laboratory environment
  • You are searching for an internship where you have the freedom to take initiative
  • You are available for a period of minimal 5 months for 5 days a week

    The Bio Technology Solutions (BTS) department is located within our Animal Health site in Boxmeer. This department is located between Research & Development (R&D) and production and works, for example, on scaling up a production process.

    About 60 employees work here and consists of various groups, supporting manufacturing or collaborate more with R&D.
