Hospital Account Manager (South-East NL)

About the Opportunity

Sanofi Genzyme currently has a great opportunity for a Hospital Account Manager South-East Netherlands to join our Rheumatology sales team.

As Hospital Account Manager, you are responsible for sales to (key) customers and managing key accounts. This includes developing and delivering territory and key account plans, and maintains excellent external relationships based on long term professional partnerships in order to maximize revenue and market share of products in territory and to achieve / exceed sales targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the development and delivery of key account and territory plans, linked to national sales plans
  • Establish and manage high quality customer relationships by maintaining knowledge of brand sales messaging, executing sales and marketing plans, scheduling and following-
  • up with healthcare professionals and budget decision makers, thus achieving or exceeding sales targets

  • Make compelling and persuasive sales pitches to designated customers resulting in sales of products
  • Analyse accounts and develops and executes plans for key accounts
  • Influence the content of national sales plans, policies and processes based on experience and knowledge
  • Participate in congresses and symposia for key accounts and KOLs, and supports activities during these events
  • About You

    To excel in this role you will need to have :

    Essential requirements :

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a Life Science, (Para)Medical or Business subject
  • Previous experience in a sales role within the pharmaceutical industry, including visiting specialists.
  • Experience working with biologicals
  • Fluent in Dutch with an excellent command of English
  • Tenacious, driven person
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting and lasting relationships with customers.
