Network Infrastructure Delivery Team is responsible for the low-level design, delivery and 3rd line support of the Networks and Security Infrastructure for Red Bee Media globally with a key focus on our local customers.
The role you will work with is the Infrastructure Delivery Manager. As a member of the multi-cultural and multi-national Network Infrastructure Delivery Team, you will work closely with other team members as well as design architects and the PMO teams, developing positive relationships both locally and within other countries.
Additionally, you will also engage with technical specialists, and infrastructure teams to deliver enterprise solutions, on which the business operates.
On-call is a requirement as your expertise and knowledge will be used to ensure agreed service levels are met and interruptions to our world-class service are prevented.
What you will do :
Take ownership of project deliveries and drive them till successful completion.
Be responsible for project documentation being accurate and informative, collaborating closely with stakeholders where needed.
Ensure information for change tickets is accurate and follows Global Networks and Security templates.
Take ownership of investigation and communicate outage impact to service managers and the wider infrastructure design and delivery team.
Gather data from the network to assist with problem-solving, aid in incident resolution and assist the business in root cause analysis.
Be responsible for sophisticated changes produced in conjunction with other engineers and Network Architects.
You will bring :
Implementing, managing, and supporting large-scale Enterprise environments to deliver high availability and highly responsive services using : Juniper SRX Firewall, Juniper Switches and routers (MX, QFX and EX series), Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI and Cisco Firepower.
Configuration and management of RAS and Load Balancing platforms.
Definition of standard methodologies, implementation, and configuration of network automation.
Deep understanding of Multicast streams configuration as well as challenges around it.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of TCP / IP networking and routing.
Disciplined approach to documentation and knowledge transfer.
Hands-on experience in fault finding in sophisticated systems running business-critical infrastructure.
Excellent stakeholder communications to all levels of the audience
Highly desirable skills and experience :
Appropriate Juniper certifications e.g. : JNCIP (SEC, R&S) or JNCIS (SEC, R&S)
Knowledge of following platforms / technologies : Cisco IPFM, Cisco ASA, Juniper ISG / SSG, DNS, DHCP, Infoblox or other IPAM solutions, Checkpoint and Fortinet
Implementation, management, and support of Proxy Servers.
An understanding of ITIL and experience working in a change-controlled environment.
Ability to process and present sophisticated technical data in a clear and concise fashion for Senior Management consumption
