The Role

The Senior HR Manager plays a critical role in supporting and driving core HR processes in the Genmab R&D center. The Senior HR Manager is responsible for setting up and maintaining local regulations and managing compliance with such.

Site HR will support execution of local recruiting strategies and has a key role in maintaining employee data and reporting within HRIS, leave administration, and employee documentation.

The Senior HR Manager will also be responsible for developing, implementing, or leading key local projects including, but not limited to site moves and expansion, supporting local events, and operating as primary point of contact for certain matters as a proxy for the Global HRBP.


Develop, implement, and track compliance with required site-based policies / handbooksDesign and implement processes & services operationally including external vendor selection & engagement (e.

g. payroll, employee benefits, careers events, etc.)Managing local recruiting process and overseeing RPO relationship and performanceLeading the coordination and development of site level onboarding and off-boarding processes while working towards harmonization of processes across sites where appropriateWork with Global HRBP to successfully and compliantly manage employee relations matters relative to local practices and regulationOversee the local HR Operations matters to ensure execution against the following : Handle all local level employment compliance requirements in terms of reportingEnsure appropriate records are kept and maintained in an orderly and organized mannerProvide first line benefits support to Genmab employees and manage all aspects of leave administrationPartner with facilities, IT, and various departments to ensure alignment and coordination with core HR processes and to ensure appropriate training is provided for all employees (current and new hires)Support local expansion and hiring from an onboard an offboarding perspective


BSc / HLO Education or aboveA minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience required and work experience within a life sciences company is highly desired.

In depth knowledge of Dutch Employment Law is critical (requiring a working knowledge of Dutch language)Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems is criticalExperience administrating leave and absence managementPreferably broad exposure to compensation & benefits relevant for the local market (pensions, health insurance, etc.

Strong preference will be given to applicants with supervisory / management experienceStrong attention to detail with an process oriented mindsetA collaborative and outgoing personalityHighly developed interpersonal skills and service orientation
