As a an Embedded Software Engineer at ALTEN you use your knowledge to work on innovative projects. You know how to develop software in a structured way, work together in a (multidisciplinary) team and are able to communicate clearly about the progress of the project and possible obstacles.
With your background you have learned to extract the required information from datasheets and to write high-quality software based on that information.

Who are we looking for?
There is a good balance between the knowledge you carry, and the knowledge you gain. You already have experience with various programming languages in the field of embedded software.
With this base you will challenge yourself to deepen your knowledge of these languages and to expand this knowledge with other programming languages.
In this way you will learn to think from different angles and you will be able to assess and advise in which programming language the proper software for the project can be written.
In addition to programming, you are interested in the aspects related to it. You can think of, for example, automatic testing and the use of tooling.
Performance issues on embedded hardware (platforms) keep you focused and you know how to deal with the limitations of a hardware platform.
